Softwash Machines for Sale in Nashville, TN
Softwashing vs Power Washing vs Pressure Washing Explained
Pressure washing is a generic term that covers two different types of washing: power washing and soft washing. Both methods use pressure to create a more focused and farther-reaching stream of water. The key difference is how much pressure each uses and the types of cleaning each method is suited for.
What is Power washing?
Power washing uses a highly pressurized stream of water to blast off dirt, grime, stains, and other substances. Because the stream is so powerful, it can damage certain surfaces that are porous. Powerwashing is the preferred method for washing sidewalks, driveways, garage floors, and other concrete or asphalt surfaces.
What is Soft washing?
Soft washing is similar to power washing in that it involves a pressurized stream of water. However, the pressure used is much lower and chemicals are added to the stream to aid in the removal of build-up, dirt, and grime. The chemicals are biodegradable and are washed away by the stream itself. Brick, siding, roofs, and windows are often cleaned by soft washing.

Softwash machines are the preferred way to clean homes and businesses, primarily because there is considerably less risk of damaging siding with a softwash machine. They’re also extremely useful for cleaning vehicles—especially if you enjoy off-roading. You don’t have to be a professional to make the purchase of a softwash machine worthwhile.
